ASSAM, INDIA – JULY 2026

The state of Assam is reeling under devastating floods. The situation is catastrophic. Over 50 people have lost their lives, 40 individuals remain missing, and more than 7 lakh people have been displaced from their homes. Thousands of houses are completely submerged, and over 60,000 citizens are currently living without electricity. Additionally, a large number of cattle and livestock have perished, destroying the livelihoods of countless families.

In this hour of immense grief and crisis we would like to seek urgent appeal to all well wishers, churches, institutions, and communities to extend kind prayers, generous support with all possible material help by distributing food, clean drinking water, medicines, and essential clothing to those who have lost everything.
